Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of our students, guiding them through foundational literacy and math skills while promoting positive behavior management and child welfare.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages respect, inclusion, creativity, and exploration.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress in literacy, math, and other developmental areas.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns regarding child welfare.
- Incorporate developmentally appropriate daily activities to enhance independent learning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Some education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with 12 to 24 months of age children in daycare or educational settings.
- Strong understanding of literacy education, math concepts, and curriculum development for young learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that prioritizes child welfare.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is desirable.
- ITS SIDS Training Completed with verifiable WORKS account.
