Full-Time Mechanic Shop Cleaner & Helper

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and dependable Full-Time Mechanic Shop Cleaner & Helper to join our team.

This position will be responsible for keeping the mechanic shop clean, organized, and safe while also assisting the mechanics with general shop tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying busy, and learning about equipment and mechanical work.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain mechanic shop floors and work areas
• Sweep, mop, and remove dirt, debris, and trash
• Keep tools, equipment, and shop areas organized
• Clean and maintain bathrooms and break room
• Empty trash cans and maintain cleaning supplies
• Assist mechanics with general shop tasks
• Help move and organize parts, tools, and equipment
• Assist with loading and unloading parts and materials
• Help clean and prepare equipment
• Perform basic maintenance and cleanup tasks as directed
• Follow all shop safety rules and procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to follow instructions and work independently
• Willing to learn and assist mechanics
• Comfortable working in a busy mechanic shop environment
• Able to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Previous shop, mechanical, construction, agricultural, or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be safety-minded and willing to follow company safety procedures

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
