Job Summary:
Safely operate a 20’ box truck, making deliveries to the Trail Ridge Store & Café on a daily basis. Loading and unloading of all retail and food & beverage product. Taking temperatures of food product at time of loading and when unloading. Working with Warehouse Supervisor on a daily basis receiving and checking in product.
The Details:
Position Type: Full-time, Seasonal. There are NO full-time year-round positions available.
Season Dates: Mid-May until mid-October
Pay: $18.40
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

- Perform all duties with respect to the Company’s Core Values, Mission Statement, and guest service standards.
- Responsible for safe operation of company vehicles, transporting product, merchandise, and food supplies from the Estes Park warehouse to the Trail Ridge Store & Cafe (22 miles one way) in all weather conditions. Side road guards are not provided on Trail Ridge Road.
- Ability to navigate driving a 20’ box truck in town and on winding mountain roads.
- Ability to accurately and safely back up box truck to loading dock and other locations.
- Responsible for loading and unloading box truck in conjunction with deliveries between the warehouse and the Trail Ridge Store & Café.
- Coordinate truck maintenance and complete required vehicle inspection reports.
- Accurately and efficiently receive, price, package, and distribute merchandise received, keeping paperwork legible.
- Accurately sort and store all inventory.
- Accurately check in vendor deliveries.
- Maintain accurate logs and records to track and account for all merchandise as it is received.
- Inspect all merchandise as it is received to ensure all is in good and usable condition, proper quantity count, and invoiced according to purchase order.
- Produce, distribute, and file all necessary documentation to support the receiving of merchandise.
- Computer input of all merchandise received when warehouse supervisor needs assistance.
- Establish and maintain order in all warehouse storage areas.
- Rotate all product, when appropriate, to represent a “First In-First Out” philosophy of product usage.
- Ability to recognize all product the warehouse handles on a regular basis.
- Work closely with warehouse supervisor to establish operational priorities.
- Communicate to supervisor any inventory discrepancies.
- Take trash and recycle down each day.
- Clean and sanitize the truck(s) on a daily basis.
- Clean out and sanitize the TRS dumpster on a daily basis.
- Assist with annual inventories and any gift shop openings or closings.
- Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse.
- Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
- Perform duties outside the job classification assigned by management along with a
- Must have valid non-CDL driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Candidate must be able to work at 12,000 feet.
- Candidate must be detail oriented.
- Able to drive safely in all types of weather conditions.
- Able to work with minimal supervision evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Working knowledge of all products received and stored in warehouse.
- Able to organize and prioritize your daily routine.
- Able to communicate in a positive and concise manner.
- Able to accomplish tasks with little direct supervision.
- Able to communicate with managers.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 70 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
