Xanitos is hiring Full-Time Laundry Equipment Technician for 1st shift at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, TN.

Job Overview:

Operates equipment used to wash / dry and finish laundry.

Daily Responsibilities: 

• Weighs linen before loading equipment to insure correct weight.
• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Selects correct was formula based on load type.
• Monitors linen wash quality.
• Reports equipment issues to maintenance department.
• Follow instruction given by lead(s) or management.
• Wears appropriate protective apparel when necessary.
• Keeps work area clean including lunch room.
• Clean our carts when required.
• Completes was load and Dryer load reports.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in health industry a plus
• Background Screening and Drug Test required
• FLU Vaccine required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
