Mechanical Engineer II

Our client, a leader in engineered energy and industrial solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and integration of equipment packages for power generation and large-scale industrial projects. This role offers the chance to contribute to both detailed design and full turnkey solutions, while collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and project execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review mechanical systems and components for packaged equipment and facility projects.
- Develop specifications for pumps, filters, heat exchangers, and ventilation systems.
- Select and source components in partnership with procurement.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, and installation.
- Drive design improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 - 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in design/manufacturing.
- 3 years' experience within gas turbine package design.
- Strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical design principles.
- Skilled in 3D modeling and 2D drafting (AutoCAD preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with turbomachinery or rotating equipment is highly desirable.
