Job Description: Support Designer
We are seeking a talented and motivated Support Designer to join a leading midstream oil & gas company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in drafting P&IDs, detailing piping, structural, or vessel drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed P&ID, piping, and structural drawings for natural gas compression packages and related equipment.
- Support design teams by delivering accurate and high-quality technical drawings and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure design specifications and requirements are met.
- Assist in the preparation of project deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Utilize CAD software tools, including Cadworx, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks, to produce and modify design drawings.
- Manage project files and documentation through Vault to maintain version control and organization.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in drafting and design within the oil & gas industry.
- Solid knowledge of reciprocating natural gas compression packages.
- Proficiency in Cadworx, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Vault for design and file management.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a midstream oil & gas environment is a plus.
