Summary of duties:
- Duties include the setup and operation of various automatic and manual production machines, such as the Twin Column Press, Opti-Shear, Water Jet, or like equipment, to fabricate and produce parts according to engineering specifications.
- Makes adjustments to ensure parts conform to qualify specifications.
- Loads and unloads parts and sorts finished parts.
- Performs total productive maintenance and related duties to ensure proper operation of machine/s.
- Performs 5S procedures.
- Takes part in the training process for all new team members.
- Provides input regarding the performance of new team members.
- Participates with other team members on safety, process and quality improvement teams.
- Works with team members, supervisors and support areas to coordinate workflow to meet production requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools.
- Ability to read and understand written English.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
