Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their needs
- Assist customers with product selection, offering detailed product demos when appropriate
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
- Conduct stock checks, receive shipments, and perform merchandising tasks to keep the store inviting
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Support supervising staff by helping oversee daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service standards
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is highly advantageous
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer groups
- Experience in smoke shopenvironments is beneficial
