Reporting to the Senior Manager Compliance, the Compliance Senior Accountant is responsible for continuously monitoring and improving the accounting controls environment at X-Rite Pantone and facilitating all internal and external audit testi
ng.
This is a hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum of two days per week onsite in our Grand Rapids, MI off
ice.
In this role, a typical day will look
- like:Conduct balance sheet reviews of domestic and international entities to ensure accounting procedures are in adherence with GAAP and company pol
- iciesCoordinate internal and external audit processes, liaising with auditors and global process partners to ensure timely completion of audit requ
- ests.Support timely implementation of accounting and other control improvements as identified through audit and balance sheet review proc
- essesProvide guidance on accounting policies and control performance expectations through trainings and business partn
- eringExecute special projects as may be required such as investigations and implementation of new accounting stand
- ards.Travel is required ranging from 5-15% of business
days
The essential requirements of the job in
