Art Department Intern (Fashion Industry)

The XiRENA Art Department Intern will support the Creative and Art team across day-to-day operations, photoshoots, and preparation. This role will support studio organization, photoshoots, and other creative/art-related tasks, while gaining practical experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Review and ensure alignment of creative assets, including lookbooks, “style this way” guides, postcards, and other marketing materials

• Partner with the Creative Coordinator to prepare and organize print assets for the sales team (lookbooks, style guides, swatch books)

• Support photoshoots by pulling styles and preparing garments, including steaming, organizing racks, and gathering fit-related items

• Assist with casting needs as required, including tracking models, fees, cast dates, agency information, decisions, and feedback

• Create and distribute call sheets for photo shoots

• Assist with organizing selected photos within shared drives and file systems

• Maintain organization of the studio, closets, and dressing rooms before, during, and after shoots (re-tagging garments, updating inventory as needed, stocking refreshments, etc.)

• Support the video team with set-up and breakdown as needed

• Coordinate craft services for all shoots, including:

o Preparing booties, sticky pads, and cleaning supplies for set

o Checking seamless paper is stocked & all items are in stock for the next shoot

o Ordering and picking up lunch; managing coffee, beverages, and on-set refreshment runs

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

• 1-3 years in a Creative or Art-related role, fashion industry preferred/education in fashion

• In-Office, part-time - Starting in a temp. capacity

• Ability to multitask, work on tight timelines, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment

• Excel, PowerPoint, Word experience

• Photoshop and Adobe Suites experience (bonus)

• Ability to stand, walk, squat, turn, bend, climb, grasp/reach, and push/pull up to 25 lbs. (team lift system should be used when necessary)

$18-$19/hr
