Job Description: X-Bow Systems Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Accounting Team for Summer 2026. This internship offers hands-on experience in key areas of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in finance and accounting, excellent organizational skills, and a desire to contribute to real-world projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Assist with processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments.
• Accounts Receivable: Support the team in tracking incoming payments, preparing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.
• Payroll: Help with payroll processing, verifying employee data, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
• General Ledger: Assist in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and supporting month-end close processes.
• Collaborate with the accounting team on special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields:

  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Business Administration
  • Economics

• Strong interest in finance and accounting with a desire to learn and grow in the field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools/software.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Basic understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger processes.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
