Preferred Qualifications:
- Possesses or qualifies for a Virginia License to teach with appropriate endorsement(s).
- Noncommissioned Officer who has separated/retired within the past 5 years with a minimum of 10 years cumulative honorable service in the grades of E-6 through E-9, or an Officer who has separated/retired within the past 5 years with a minimum of 10 years cumulative honorable service in the grades of W-1 through W-5 or O-3 through O-6.
- Possesses knowledge and skills in the assigned instructional area.
- Experience instructing drill, color guard, Raider teams, and marksmanship.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for the teaching/learning process.
- Demonstrates the professional and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, school personnel, parents, and members of the school community.
SALARY BASED ON THE 2025-2026 TEACHER'S SALARY SCALE
