How you’ll contribute: A Cat Scan Technologist who excels in this role:

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
• Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
• Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for Applicants should have Two-year certificate, Associate’s degree, or Baccalaureate degree.
