Job Description Summary/Objective
The On-Site Safety Manager reports directly to the Job Site Superintendent and Senior Safety Manager. He/ She will provide support to all field staff as well as management to enforce Company Safety and Health policies and procedures. The Safety Technician’s main job is to protect employees, facilities, the public, and the environment from occupational hazards. Extra training will be provided by certified Safety Consultant if needed.
In addition to field task responsibilities, they are responsible for completing all tasks designated to them.
Essential Functions

1. Collect data on the safety and health conditions of the workplace
2. Serve as liaison between office and field to help prevent harm to work, property, the environment, and the public
3. Educate employees during Job Site Orientation
4. Educate and test all employees on a regular basis
5. Work in a variety of settings, such as offices and job sites
6. Inspect, test, and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure they follow safety standards and government regulations
7. Identify work areas for potential health and safety hazards
8. Demonstrate correct use of safety equipment.
9. Manage on site Personal Protective Equipment
10. Work with GC to maintain Safety Standards

Work Environment
This job partially operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. In addition to the office setting while performing other duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak to groups of various sizes. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full-time position. Days and hours of work vary, 40 hours per week, and overtime may be required.

Required Education and Experience
1. Licenses: Current Driver’s License and must have own reliable transportation.
2. High School Graduate, GED or equivalent.
3. OSHA 30

5. CSST or equivalent
