Job Title: Machine Operator
Wyoming Welding & Machine is a leading provider of manufacturing, welding, and fabrication solutions. We are known for our extremely high-quality standards and completing projects on time for our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our team.
Job Summary:
Our Machine Operators run our Trumpf fiber laser and Bystronic CNC press brake, cutting and forming parts from sheet metal and plate. We serve the chemical, marine, energy, construction, mission-critical, power generation, water treatment, and aerospace industries, among others, and work with titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel. Operators work as part of a production team and are expected to follow established processes and the prints provided for each job.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate the Trumpf fiber laser and Bystronic CNC press brake.
- Read and interpret prints, technical drawings, Excel spreadsheets, and other job data.
- Cut and form material accurately to print and tolerance.
- Work to the production schedule and communicate any delays or issues to your supervisor.
- Inspect parts to confirm they meet quality standards before they move to the next operation.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with repairs as needed.
- Cut extrusions and stick material on the bandsaw as needed.
- Safely operate the forklift, overhead crane, and hand and power tools.
- Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area and follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Continue building your skills and stay current with equipment and industry practices.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Comfortable using a Windows-based computer.
- Able to read, understand, and work from shop drawings and prints.
- Working knowledge of shop math (fractions, decimals, measurements, and basic geometry).
- Solid understanding of the machines and tools used in metal manufacturing.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug testing.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
