What are the responsibilities and job description for the BCP Sales & Financing Coordinator position at Wyoming Rents?
JOB SUMMARY
The BCP Sales & Financing Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the dealership’s sales team and Caterpillar Finance related to equipment financing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•
Work directly with Sales Representatives and Caterpillar Financial on financed machine packages.
•
Process quotes through CapitalStream and communicate financial proposals to the sales team.
•
Submits quotes to CAT Finance for credit approval.
•
Coordinates with Caterpillar Finance credit analysts to prepare loan reports, and gather documentation needed to complete the credit approval process.
•
Reviews and submits finance documents to CAT Finance for approval and funding.
•
Prepare documentation to include in the loan package and send to the sales representative to obtain customer signatures, or directly to customer via E-Signature.
•
Monitors all CAT finance quotes, credit submissions, and funding to ensure timely responses and completion of financing steps.
•
Support the Participation process by evaluating and submitting all submitted lost sales to APEX.
•
Position is also responsible for sales invoicing and maintaining support claims of all Building Construction Products (BCP)
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Support the Sales Department by answering telephones and assisting walk-in-customers.
•
Ensure accurate delivery reporting on all Sales, Rental and Machine Demos.
•
Assist Department Management with additional projects.
•
Accurately track and report on machines and other performance metrics aligned with Sales Department initiatives.
•
Cross train with other areas in the Sales Department to assist where needed
.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY
•
Must be able to read, write and understand English.
•
Must be able to listen and follow instructions.
•
Must be able to type, be able to use a computer and have basic knowledge of copy and fax machines.
•
Must understand intermediate math and be able to evaluate numbers.
•
Telecommunications skills are required to report results to salesmen and management.
EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
•
Minimum High School graduate or equivalent, post High School education preferred.
•
Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
•
Training or experience with Excel required.
EXPERIENCE
•
Keyboard, telephone skills, knowledge of PC and mainframe computers, operating copy, fax machines, and general office equipment.
•
Experience with Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel.
•
Experience in project development & completion. Willingness to make suggestions to management team.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
•
Office environment requiring professional dress and appearance.
•
Primarily involved in office activities.
•
Sit and or stand 6-8 hours per day. Be prepared to work longer than normal days.
•
Use hands and feet for fine manipulation.
•
Lift 20 – 40 pounds
