oin our team and mission at the Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC) in Lander. WLRC operates as an Intermediate and Skilled Nursing Facility. This position assists in the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

• Assist with the inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of fleet automotive equipment, as well as equipment used in grounds maintenance.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance inspections, services, and repairs.
• Maintain documentation related to inspections, services, and repairs.
• Ensure that equipment that requires annual inspection is kept up to date, including proper record-keeping.
• Procure the necessary parts needed to complete repairs and maintenance. Keep an inventory of parts.
• Schedule vehicles for use by facility staff.
• Keep shop, shop equipment, and vehicles clean, operable, and in a safe condition.
• Assist with inspections, testing, and maintenance on campus generators in accordance with NFPA 110 and maintain all pertinent records for Life Safety Code inspection of generators.
• Design and fabricate parts for grounds keeping and other equipment as necessary.
• Ensure the safety of self and others in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Preference may be given to applicants with three or more years of education or experience in the mechanic field.

Education

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

Associate's Degree

Experience

0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically Mechanics)

**OR**

Education & Experience Substitution

2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Mechanics)
