What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campus Security Assistant - on call/as needed position at Wyoming Life Resource Center?
This part-time non-benefitted temporary position performs policing, safety, and security tasks relative to students, student activities, and buildings, reporting anything unusual or amiss to decision makers. The typical schedule is Saturday -- Tuesday evenings during the school year, and the ability to cover other evenings as needed to accommodate vacations.
Patrols and observes campus grounds daily and during events and activities to identify potential problematic areas and/or situations and to enforce Campus policies; communicates dangerous and/or unusual situations to appropriate personnel.
Secures campus properties and buildings, which includes locking buildings and doors at appropriate times.
Represents the College with students, visitors, and/or other applicable parties who are on campus.
Provides general assistance to individuals as needed.
Assists residential personnel in enforcing policies.
Provides escorts to students, faculty, and staff.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
