Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Water Well Driller & Pump Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Operate drilling rigs and associated heavy equipment such as backhoes, water trucks, and drilling machinery to install or repair water wells.
- Conduct routine maintenance on construction machinery and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation or drilling activities, ensuring safety and compliance with federal construction safety regulations.
- Drive commercial rigs, water trucks, or trailers to transport equipment, materials, or personnel between job sites.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, safety inspections, and project progress.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation, construction site protocols, and federal safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery including backhoes (backhoe operation), drill rigs and water trucks.
- CDL Preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform routine maintenance on construction equipment.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving; ability to operate trucks safely
- Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures essential.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
