Wyoming County Community Health System is hiring (1) one Full Time Operating Room Product/Materials Specialist

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: The incumbent is responsible for the streamlined management of clinical supplies and specialized equipment across the Operating Room, Anesthesia, ASU and Endoscopy departments. This role serves as the primary link between clinical staff, hospital purchasing, and external vendors. The position is responsible for the ordering, stocking, monitoring, and receipt reconciliation of surgical supplies. Beyond logistics, this position ensures financial accuracy by overseeing the surgical charging process, ensuring all implants and supplies are accurately captured in the patient record. This position work under the direct supervision of the Director of Surgical Services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and EACH of the following:
a.) Minimum one (1) year experience in product material management, inventory control or purchasing; AND,
b.) Minimum one (1) year experience in billing, charge capture and supply utilization documentation.
Note: Experience in performing inventory and/or billing audits preferred.
