Wyoming County Cannabis Co. is proud to be the first retail cannabis dispensary in Wyoming County, New York. Located in the heart of Warsaw, we are building a team of passionate, knowledgeable professionals who are committed to serving our community with excellence. We are currently hiring for three key roles to launch our dispensary:
Positions at a Glance
Dispensary Manager (Full-Time): $60,000–$70,000/year incentives
As the Dispensary Manager, you will lead all daily operations and set the standard for our team and customer experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate all store staff; recruit and hire as needed
- Drive sales growth, monitor financial performance, and manage store budgets and expenses
- Maintain compliance documentation and conduct regular audits
- Foster a positive, welcoming environment and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Represent the dispensary in the community and build relationships with local partners and organizations
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- 7 years of management experience in retail, hospitality, or cannabis
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of legal cannabis retail strongly preferred
Inventory Manager (Full-Time): $22–$24/hour
The Inventory Manager will own our product pipeline from forecasting through fulfillment, ensuring shelves are stocked and records are airtight. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee all inventory operations, control procedures, and management systems
- Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and develop replenishment schedules
- Manage supplier and vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and delivery terms
- Supervise and train inventory team members; create schedules and evaluate performance
- Generate inventory reports and analysis; identify risks and implement loss-prevention measures
- Ensure all inventory management complies with cannabis regulations and maintain proper documentation
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- 5 years of inventory management experience
- Experience in cannabis or retail industry ideal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
FOH Associate / Budtender (Full-Time / Part-Time): $20–$22/hour tips
Our Budtenders are the face of Wyoming County Cannabis Co. You will guide customers through their experience with warmth, knowledge, and professionalism. Key responsibilities include:
- Greet customers warmly; assist with browsing, product selection, and educated recommendations
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all cannabis products, features, effects, and uses
- Process transactions accurately using POS system; handle cash, card, and digital payments securely
- Verify customer identification (21 ) and follow all state and local cannabis regulations
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory counts, and maintain organized product displays
- Keep work area clean and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
- Knowledge of New York cannabis products and market preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
