What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Solutions Specialist position at Wyoming Corporate Office?
Wyoming Corporate Office is looking to add to our team in our Sheridan, WY office, located at 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, in-office position working 8 am – 5 pm MST alongside an awesome set of teammates.
Sheridan is a small town with strong community roots and we’re proud to be part of it! You’ll join a team of local people who care about the work they do, value one another, and show up for our neighbors in the same way we show up for our clients.
We are seeking self-motivated self-starters who can also demonstrate patience and adaptability. In this fast-paced position, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
At Wyoming Corporate Office, we believe in hiring good people and giving them the autonomy they need to succeed. We trust our team members to make decisions, solve problems, and interact with our clients in a genuine and personable manner. We operate with autonomy and expect you to make good decisions even when there isn't a clear policy. If it's the right thing for the client, we want you to do it.
A resume can tell us where you’ve worked and what you’ve done, but it doesn’t always tell us who you are. We want to know the person behind the experience.
As part of your application, we’ll ask you to include a cover letter, but don’t overthink it. Tell us a little about yourself, what caught your attention about this role or our company, and why you think you’d be a great fit. Maybe it’s your experience, the way you approach your work, what you’re hoping to learn next, or something else entirely. We just want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Every day is different. We operate in a fast-paced environment and expect our team to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities. You'll wear multiple hats as needs shift throughout the week, some days mail processing takes priority, other days you're focused on walk-in clients or filing deadlines. Here's what a typical week includes:
- Process mail – Open, scan, file, and send out mail accurately and within set timelines.
- Process Service of Process – Process and upload Service of Process documents to our portal.
- Support clients directly – Answer client questions via email and phone; help walk-in clients understand their options and move forward with their business needs.
- Problem-solve and own it – Identify issues before they become problems, research answers, coordinate with teammates (both local and remote experts) to solve client problems, and follow through without needing reminders.
- Learn continuously – Build expertise across our services, products, and how we help clients. Stay curious and adaptable as your responsibilities grow.
- Support your teammates – Help where needed, share what you've learned, and be someone others can count on.
