WCA is hiring a First Aid Safety Assistant (FASA) to be trained to administer basic first aid as needed, administer student medications or inhalers as needed, help with minor medical issues within the scope of our training (i.e. cuts/scrapes/fevers, etc.) and when not needed in the first aid office-- to help with hallway supervision at times.
This position follows our Academic School Calendar working M-F 7:20 a.m. - 3:50 p.m. with a break and a 30-minute lunch. This position does not get paid to work on days we are not in school--so it offers some nice flexibility (not working Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, Spring break, summers, or federal holidays). This ends up being that the F.A.S.A. works 178 days in the school year.
