We’re hiring a Driller to support exploration activities by operating drilling equipment, collecting samples, and accurately logging field data. This is a hands-on, outdoor role with frequent travel and variable terrain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate drilling equipment and 4×4 trucks safely
- Locate drill targets and collect samples
- Log depth, location, and sample data accurately
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and light repairs
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Communicate with lab, maintenance, and operations teams
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Drilling experience preferred (bentonite experience a plus; training provided)
- Basic computer, recordkeeping, and mechanical skills
- Ability to read maps and work independently
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements:
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Frequent lifting (50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs)
- Ability to work long days in rough terrain
- Must follow all PPE and safety rules
