Responsibilities

• Assemble glass panels accurately using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
• Install interior glass components such as partitions, shower enclosures, mirrors, and decorative panels in commercial or residential settings.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine precise placement and installation requirements.
• Use fabrication techniques to prepare glass for installation, including caulking, trimming, and framing.
• Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and using appropriate equipment to prevent injury.
• Complete trim carpentry tasks like door hanging, fixture installation, cabinet mounting, and metal stud framing as needed for seamless integration.
• Perform finishing touches such as caulking, sealing joints, and applying construction painting to ensure a polished look.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with glass installation on construction sites or remodeling projects.
• Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and fabrication techniques related to glass or metal framing.
• Familiarity with carpentry skills such as door hanging, fixture installation, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry.
• Experience with remodeling projects involving drywall, painting, or handyman tasks is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,500.00 per week
