Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and track facility maintenance and sanitation activities.
Verify cleanliness and facility conditions in compliance with SQF and GMP requirements.
Schedule and track preventive maintenance for facility systems and utilities.
Coordinate contractors and service providers in compliance with GMP and safety requirements.
Support pest control program coordination and maintain SQF-required records.
Monitor HVAC, water, and compressed air systems; report and follow up on issues.
Maintain facility inspection logs, work orders, and audit documentation.
Coordinate exterior maintenance, docks, and building perimeter activities.
Support emergency systems inspections and documentation.
Assist with waste management coordination and vendor services.
Communicate maintenance status and issues to management and operations.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2–4 years of facilities or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working in a food manufacturing, GMP, SQF, or regulated environment preferred.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to coordinate schedules, vendors, and follow-up actions.
Working knowledge of facility systems (HVAC, utilities, lighting, building maintenance).
Ability to work in an industrial environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting SQF or GFSI audits.
Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems.
Experience coordinating contractors or vendors.
Forklift or material-handling equipment experience.
