Wynmoor, a large, gated adult condominium community in Coconut Creek is seeking a Painter.
Wynmoor offers competitive compensation and benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off and a safe harbor 401(k) plan. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting (e.g., scraping, sanding, patching, cleaning)
- Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter using drop cloths or masking tape
- Inspect and maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Records time and materials used on various projects.
- Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
- Performs related work as required, also perform other general building maintenance duties.
Candidate requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience.
- Basic computer skills and smart device proficiency.
- Valid Florida driver's license required.
- Demonstrated ability to reliably perform general building maintenance and repair work.
- Ability to meet physical job requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds, crawling, stooping, and climbing ladders.
- Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
