- Understanding and advancing new metrology technologies and measurement techniques to meet technical and device roadmap requirements
- Collaborating with equipment vendors to improve hardware/software and develop new measurement methods for process characterization and control
- Maintaining calibration and optimizing metrology systems supporting technology development
- Working with process engineers to optimize measurements across new device flows and layer stacks
- Developing applications for next-generation processes and supporting technology transfer to production
- Evaluating innovative metrology tools for cost-effective, high-precision deployment
- Designing and optimizing metrology target layouts to enhance measurement quality
- Improving automation, throughput, and measurement precision while maintaining integrity
Preferred candidates should have experience with semiconductor metrology disciplines such as X-ray techniques, SIMS, AFM, WLI, or electrical characterization, along with:
- Strong understanding of semiconductor process metrics for characterization and control
- Proficiency in MS Office, JMP, Python, and AI tools for data analysis and problem-solving
