We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter in Birmingham, AL, for our two children, a 3-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy. The babysitting job will be on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 06:20 PM to 09:20 PM. During this time, our son Ford will mostly be napping, and he usually wakes up between 3 and 4 PM. You will need to get him out of the crib when he wakes up. Our daughter Brie does not nap but has a rest time. Both children require a snack around 3:30-4 PM, which will be prepared in advance.
Please note that we do have a dog, a black lab named Margo, in the house. There is no requirement for driving, and while feeding is part of the responsibilities, no bathing or bedtime duties are needed as the kids will already be in bed. My husband will be leaving for a doctor appointment but should return by 4 PM. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being around young children and is comfortable with pets.
