**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Group Sales Manager to lead and manage our group sales efforts to drive revenue and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand and maximize group sales opportunities.
- Manage a team of sales professionals, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure their success.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects such as corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue teams to develop targeted marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, highlighting sales achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Stay current on competitor activities to differentiate our group sales offerings.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends for identifying growth opportunities.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales forecasting tools.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
