Hotel Front Desk Agent (Experienced) – 2nd Shift

Wyndham Indianapolis West is seeking an experienced, dependable, and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you'll play an essential role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional hospitality and outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude and provide an exceptional first impression.
• Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures quickly and accurately.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with reservations, questions, and hotel information.
• Process new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
• Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
• Process payments, maintain accurate cash handling procedures, and balance daily transactions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional front desk and lobby area.
• Follow Wyndham brand standards, hotel policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with administrative duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience using hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers, email, and reservation software.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to remain professional and positive while handling guest concerns.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule

• Second Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
