Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and organized according to established standards.
- Handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies.
- Maintain equipment used for cleaning in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in hospitality settings.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Experience in housekeeping management or hotel environments is advantageous but not required.
