Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of the Club’s buildings and grounds. Duties will include a combination of general maintenance, light repairs, and janitorial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of Club facilities, including lighting, HVAC filters, plumbing, and equipment.
- Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Assist with event setup, furniture moves, and general Club preparations.
- Maintain cleanliness in designated areas, including restrooms, offices, hallways, and staff spaces.
- Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste removal.
- Support landscaping, minor painting, and touch-up projects as needed.
- Ensure tools, supplies, and maintenance areas are organized and properly stored.
- Communicate any safety concerns or facility issues to the Facilities Manager promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, ideally in hospitality, club, or resort settings.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and general repair work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
