Your First Weeks
Start with a solid foundation: train on 1st shift (6:30am – 3:00pm) for 60–90 days. You’ll master make-ready, pulling retains for quality checks, and fine-tuning the die-cutter for accurate cut-to-print and optimal scoring.
Where You’ll Land
- 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
- 3rd Shift: 11:00pm – 6:30am
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Prepare and position die carts; load dies, counters, and stock correctly.
- Own machine setups to achieve precision cuts and consistent scores.
- Run production to rate while continuously verifying quality via retains.
- Complete thorough changeovers by removing materials and tooling after each job.
- Conduct routine cleaning and mechanical adjustments to keep equipment at peak performance.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with your team and help advance department goals and improvements.
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2–3 years of mechanically oriented work experience with proven hand tool competence.
- Stable work history and reliable work ethic.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
