Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks on various agricultural and construction equipment components.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise welds according to specifications.
- Set up and operate welding machines, ensuring adherence to safety standards and codes.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in the training of junior welders as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a welder with proficiency in MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
- Experience operating press brake machines is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
- Ability to work with various materials including sheet metal and ductwork.
- Basic machining skills are a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
