Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
Oversee Production and/or Packaging employees, including
- Assigning duties, and ensuring adherence to the daily schedule and cooking plan
- Monitoring team attendance, tardiness and time-off and report to Supervisor.
- Monitor team performance and ensure all duties are performed efficiently.
- Ensure quotas are met by observing Packaging Support team members and training/coaching
- Assist Production Supervisors and Managers in training and coaching Production Support employees on proper procedures, techniques and compliance protocols
- Report and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the shift to Supervisor/Plant Manager.
- Accurately perform opening and closing duties
- Ensure proper storage of all facility consumables and products. Store food products in compliance with safety practice
- Maintain high-quality standards during shifts including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced with regard to weights, appearance of product and flavor profile
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace, and ensure Production Support teams understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform quality inspections on products as assigned. Minimize waste where possible.
- Make recommendations to management regarding personnel evaluation and training of the kitchen team
- Prep, mix, cook, produce, pour, deposit, pull, and store all facility consumables and products
- Accurately prepare ingredients, workstations and equipment for production, including performing regular checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly
- Correctly infuse by thoroughly scraping, turning, lifting and rotating for the appropriate time
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and state regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Assist in accurately reading, recording and communicating all kitchen data, counts, measurements and weights
- Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product
- Maintain high-quality standards during shifts including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced
- Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
- Communicate quality or safety discrepancies to Supervisors, Managers and/or Directors
- Ensure a safe working environment.
- Review and communicate daily on all safety related topics of discussion.
- Effectively manage your time and that of your team to stay on schedule to meet daily production expectations.
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company.
Qualifications

- At least 1 year of directly related experience and/or training in a food production or kitchen environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of lead or supervisory experience. Must have experience and familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations. Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must obtain all applicable state required: permits, licenses, certifications
- Oregon: Active Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) Marijuana Worker Permit.
- California: Ability to pass a criminal background check or a Live Scan in the State of California.
- Arizona: Ability to clear a criminal background check and obtain a Facility and/or Dispensary Agent Card.
- Nevada: Active Nevada Cannabis Production / Distribution Agent Card required.
- Colorado: Active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Marijuana Worker’s Permit required.
- ServSafe Food Handler’s Card preferred.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check
- State regulations require that all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
