The Residential Service Plumber is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential and light commercial plumbing systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience while representing the company.
Plumber Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
- Install water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and plumbing piping.
- Perform drain cleaning and sewer line diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Complete plumbing inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Educate customers on repair and replacement options.
- Provide accurate documentation, estimates, and service reports using company software.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle.
- Follow all local plumbing codes and company safety standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every job.
Plumber Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of residential plumbing experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with water heaters, fixtures, drain cleaning, sewer repairs, and general plumbing service.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
- Texas Tradesman, Journeyman, or Master Plumber license preferred
