Starting Rate: $17.00/hour

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Join one of the largest independent seed companies! Wyffels Hybrids is hiring seasonal employees at our Research facility in Geneseo, Illinois. If you’re hardworking and dependable, we want you on our team!

Job Duties:

• Package and organize seed envelopes – Accurately sort, fill, and label seed packets to prepare them for research trials and distribution.
• Operate lab equipment – Assist in running seed counters, labeling machines, and other specialized tools to ensure precise packaging.
• Perform quality control checks – Verify that seed packets meet company standards for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and efficient work environment – Keep workstations organized, follow safety guidelines, and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Support research operations – Work alongside our research team to prepare materials for field testing and data collection.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
• Capable of working effectively alone or as part of a crew.
• Willingness to adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
