What You’ll Do

As our Facilities Custodian, you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of facility spaces to support a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

• Work Schedule: This position offers scheduling flexibility, allowing employees to choose the schedule that works best for them. Available options include Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday. Opportunities are available on 2nd and 3rd shifts, including a 12:00 PM–8:00 PM schedule.

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of offices, laboratories, hallways, warehouse areas, and other facility spaces.

• Clean floors, interior glass, doors, and commonly touched surfaces to support a safe and professional work environment.

• Perform routine and detailed cleaning of workspaces, furniture, fixtures, and facility surfaces

• Support periodic and seasonal cleaning projects, including deeper facility cleaning and special maintenance tasks as needed.

• Maintain clean, sanitary, and well-stocked restroom facilities for employees and visitors.

• Ensure breakrooms and shared employee spaces remain clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

• Clean and maintain common appliances and shared surfaces in employee areas.

• Manage facility waste removal, including emptying containers, replacing liners, and transporting waste to designated disposal areas.

• Monitor custodial supplies and coordinate ordering or replenishment of cleaning materials and consumables.

• Support basic facility upkeep tasks and assist with maintaining overall building standards

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities 

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Ability to manage daily tasks and prioritize workload

• Understanding of sanitation and facility cleanliness standards

• Ability to safely use custodial equipment and cleaning products

• Ability to perform physically active work throughout the shift

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• This is an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Facilities Manager. The role is eligible for overtime pay and the role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k).

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous custodial, janitorial, or facilities support experience preferred
• 2-3 years of related experience desired

Salary : $18 - $27
