Warehouse Inventory Tech

MicroDried is a state-of-the-art drying operation located in the Lower Yakima Valley and is currently seeking a Warehouse Inventory Tech.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load and unload trucks with appropriate material handling equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records of all materials received
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling and loading onto delivery vehicles
• Receive and distribute incoming materials to designated areas
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a safe manner according to company guidelines.
• Investigate discrepancies between inventory records and stock on hand.
• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
• Manage work area cleanliness and organization following company GMP guidelines and safety programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 1-2 yrs Experience in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and working knowledge of product/consumables in and outbound.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, computer and communication skills. (Both oral and written)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to drive, use and maneuver forklifts along with walking behind pallet jacks.
• Ability to safely move incoming and outbound materials and products in drive through racking spaces.

· The ability to lift 40 pounds and work standing and/or moving 8-12 hours per shift.

· Must be flexible on working varied hours, including holidays, weekends and scheduled meetings.

· Forklift certified

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
