Agricultural Groundskeeper/Facilities Specialist

Wyatt Ranches is seeking a man or woman to fill a FACILITIES SPECIALIST position at one of our five ranching divisions in Texas. The associate is responsible for general landscape maintenance duties of the gates along highways, entrance ways, corporate housing structures for other ranch associates, other landscape maintenance duties, and building maintenance as assigned by the Facilities Foreman or the Assistant Facilities Foreman.

The starting wage is $17.00 per hour, before bonuses, and Wyatt Ranches also provides a 2026 Ford Super Duty take-home truck for the associate to use, modern John Deere zero turn mowers, closed cab air-conditioned lawn mowers, applicable new power tools, new leaf blowers, new landscape trailers, and all other equipment as needed.

All associates receive complete uniforms (free shirts, Wrangler jeans, Wyatt Ranches brush jackets, Carhart winter jackets, western hats, winter cap, gloves, cooling rags, pocket knives, bandanas, etc.), free laundry service for uniform shirts and pants, ten to fifteen paid sick days (related to tenure), numerous paid holidays and extended paid holiday periods, two to four weeks paid vacation (relating to tenure), health insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield, including prescription and mental health coverages, 24 hour access to an RN (the Ranches pay 80 percent of the associate's health insurance and we also pay 80 percent of the associate's family's insurance), dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance with AD and D benefits (the Ranches pay 100 percent of the associate's life insurance and AD and D). All associates are able to participate in the Ranches' 401-K investment program.

Usual work hours for the Facilities Specialist are from 8 AM to 4 or 5 PM (depending on the division's needs), Monday through Friday, and working on Saturday until Noon (or longer at the associate's discretion if he or she desires). The Land and Livestock Manager, the Facilities Foreman, the Assistant Foreman of Facilities, or the Division Livestock Foreman may adjust the hours as necessary to meet the division's needs.
