Warehouse Manager
Location: Port Allen, LA
Reports to: Asset Group Manager
**Forklift Certification Required**
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse and materials management activities to support ongoing projects. This role ensures safe, efficient operations, accurate inventory control, timely material availability, and effective coordination with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, logistics, shipping, and equipment management
Ensure critical materials, tools, and equipment are available to support time-sensitive projects and shutdowns
Maintain systems for product handling, storage, equipment maintenance, and loss prevention
Coordinate material requests with field personnel and resolve shortages or delivery issues
Schedule and manage warehouse activities to improve efficiency and minimize overtime
Conduct regular equipment inspections and oversee required maintenance
Support budgeting, forecasting, and post-project closeout activities as needed
Promote a strong culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and effective communication
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management
Forklift certification required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); ability to learn scheduling and inventory software
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Physical & Work Environment
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform typical warehouse physical activities
Work performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, including variable temperatures and noise levels
May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
