Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma is seeking a results-driven and experienced District Manager to oversee operations for multiple convenience store locations within our retail division. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, operational excellence, and team development across the district while ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with multi-unit retail experience, a passion for coaching teams, and a proven ability to execute business strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Performance
- Oversee daily operations for 5-10 convenience store locations
- Drive sales, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and brand standards
- Analyze financial reports and implement action plans to improve performance
- Maintain high standards for merchandising, inventory control, and store cleanliness
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers and their teams
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and leadership support
- Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-focused culture
- Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews
Customer Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service across all locations
- Address and resolve customer concerns effectively
- Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience
Strategy & Execution
- Execute company initiatives, promotions, and operational improvements
- Identify growth opportunities within the district
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and goal setting
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–5 years of multi-unit retail management experience (convenience store, fuel retail, or quick-service preferred)
- Proven track record of driving sales and operational performance
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to travel regularly within the district
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail reporting systems
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
