What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Support Program Manager position at Wyandotte Nation?
Wyandotte Nation is seeking a qualified and motivated Child Support Program Manager to oversee the Child Support Enforcement Program under the direct supervision of the Family Services Director. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with Tribal, State, and Federal regulations; supervising program staff; managing caseloads; conducting investigations; preparing legal documents; and representing the program in court proceedings. The Child Support Program Manager will also lead program development efforts, establish partnerships with Tribal, State, and Federal agencies, and assist with policy and procedure development to strengthen program effectiveness.
The successful candidate will oversee program operations, including budget monitoring, data collection and reporting, client service audits, staff supervision, and compliance with federal reporting requirements. The position requires strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain positive working relationships, resolve challenging situations professionally, and promote collaboration across departments and community partners. Travel for meetings, training, conferences, and other job-related activities may be required.
A bachelor's degree is preferred. A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience are required. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and successfully pass all required background checks, adjudication, physical examination, and drug screening.
