We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Veterinarian specializing in small animal medicine to join our team. Duties
- Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals - limited to dogs and cats.
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments with precision and compassion.
- Assist in emergency medicine cases, utilizing critical & intensive care skills as needed.
- Conduct various surgical procedures, including general surgery and specialized techniques such as animal catheterization and aseptic techniques.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain detailed medical records following clinical ethical guidelines and veterinary terminology standards.
- Collaborate with team members on complex cases involving internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, and oncology medicine when applicable.
Requirements
- Veterinary degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice veterinary medicine.
- Proven experience in veterinary practice with a focus on small animals
- Strong knowledge of animal restraint, handling, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Proficiency in veterinary surgery, dentistry, anesthesiology (including general anesthesia), and emergency medicine.
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices and internal medicine protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for client education and team collaboration.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
