Stationary Armed Security Guard

Salary Type:$19.50 per hour

• Maintain a vigilant presence at assigned site, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and property.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance equipment to detect and deter unauthorized activity.
• Control access to the premises by verifying identification, inspecting belongings, and managing entry/exit logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing appropriate reporting and coordination with law enforcement as needed.
• Enforce all company policies, local, state, and federal regulations, and report violations in a clear and timely manner.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and maintain accurate records of all security actions.
• Provide assistance and guidance to visitors, employees, and contractors while maintaining professional conduct at all times.
• Ensure all firearms are handled, stored, and used in strict accordance with legal standards and company protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training, drills, and performance evaluations to maintain peak readiness.

• Required Licenses: Valid Florida Class D Security License and Class G Statewide Firearm License
• Drivers License: Valid drivers license with a good driving record
• Equipment: Candidates must provide their own approved body armor and firearm, along with any required equipment in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; additional security or lawenforcement related certification is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean criminal background check and drug screening results.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods.
• Proficiency with basic security technology (CCTV, alarm systems, radios).
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

• 6 mo of experience as asecurity guard or in a similar protective services role.
