Job Description
WWE is currently looking for a non-operative orthopedic/sports medicine physician to join their medical staff, in Orlando Florida at their performance center. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
1) Completion of an accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship Program
2) Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Primary Care Sports Medicine.
3) Event Coverage experience at the collegiate/semi-professional/professional level
4) Possess and maintain a valid state medical license in which the applicant resides, as well as able to obtain a Florida medical license with relocation to state of Florida
5) Possess a valid passport
6) Have several years clinical experience evaluating and treating sports medicine/musculoskeletal patients
7) Willing to travel domestically at a minimum of 1 weekend per month, and willing to travel 1 week internationally 4-5 times a year
8) Experience in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) or Manual Medicine desirable
9) Clinical experience in interpretation of musculoskeletal x-ray and MRI images desirable
10) Experience in working with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
11) Clinical experience and expertise in joint and soft tissue injections, with or without image guidance
This is a salaried position in Orlando, Florida with bulk of duties being within WWE’s performance and development center. But also with occasional travel, domestically and internationally. Salary is commensurate with level of experience. The position involves interaction with multiple disciplines(medical/executive/entertainment) and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. Exemplary organizational skills are also required in this fast-paced and continually evolving position. As this position requires occasional travel, the ideal candidate should be comfortable with spending time away from home several weeks per year.
