Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers across local and regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining fuel efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, pickups, and load details; complete all required logs accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any route adjustments or issues that arise.
Experience
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- 1 year of verifiable experience in commercial driving.
