About the Role
This position is a benefited/full-time non-exempt position. Corporate IT is located in Sheridan Wyoming but could accommodate in-person role at our other branch locations: Laramie, Casper, WY, Billings, Bozeman, Helena, MT
Responsibilities
- As a new Full-Time IT Technician at WWC Engineering, you will find your days filled with a variety of engaging tasks. You can expect to start your day by checking and addressing any urgent technical issues reported by our team. Troubleshooting hardware and software problems will be a primary focus, along with installing and configuring new equipment.
- You will also assist in regular system maintenance, ensuring all systems are secure and updated. Collaboration with other departments will be essential as you work to resolve user concerns and enhance their technological experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 & Intune a plus is required to manage documentation and communication effectively.
- Experience with Windows domains and Active Directory.
- An industry-recognized Help Desk Certification and experience in a help desk environment will provide a solid foundation for addressing technical inquiries.
- You should be capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- The ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, along with familiarity with software installations and IT security principles, will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.
- A high school diploma with 1-3 years of experience in hardware and software support preferred but not required.
