Provide a range of applied behavior analytic (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. The BCBA Supervisor consults, provides training to caregivers, conducts behavioral evaluations of clients and designs behavior and individual support plans for clients. The BCBA Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, communicating and continually evaluating the effectiveness of functional assessments, behavioral I evaluations, behavior plans and individual education plans for clients on their caseload. As a supervisor, a BCBA Supervisor is a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises the educational activities and service delivery of Behavioral Technicians and Program Coordinators. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. 2. Completion of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Supervision Requirements. EXPERIENCE: 1. Three (3) years’ experience working as a BCBA or BCBA D in the autism or developmental disability field. 2. Two (2) years’ experience training and supervising staff. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Ph.D. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures (e.g., VB-MAPP, Vineland) and functional assessment measure. 2. Develops individualized goals and objectives for home-, community-, and center-based programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data. 3. Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives. 4. Teaches Program Coordinators and Behavioral Technicians on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems. 5. Conducts regular caregiver and/or teacher training and consultation. 6. Responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision meetings with Program Coordinators and Behavior Technicians. 7. Meets regularly with Director of Outpatient Behavioral Services and notifies her/him immediately of issues impacting client's progress and satisfaction. 8. Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the Director of Outpatient Behavioral Services. 9. Oversees and directs the scheduling of Outpatient Program Coordinators and Behavioral Technicians as needed and ensure proper billing entry in NPA Works as required. 10. Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to Autism policy based on state and federal regulations. 11. Develops written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner. Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior analytic therapies; experience delivering these services. 2. Must be proficient with DTT, ABA Program/Goal Development, ABA Behavior Reduction and Skills Acquisition Procedures, and Staff Training. 3. Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized with the ability to multi task. 4. Must be ambitious and self-motivated. 5. Must like and be comfortable with change. 6. Must be comfortable collaborating with attending physicians. 7. Must be well organized. 8. Must possess efficient time management skills. 9. Excellent verbal communication skills. 10. Understanding of medical terminology. 11. Ability to respond quickly to varying demands from provider and patient. 12. Must be able to work well as part of a team. 13. Maintain professional boundaries. 14. Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 15. Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and related skills.
